I liked his pretense of putting the country first though the Senate record shows he's missed 412 votes (64.1%) this session. The only Senator to miss more votes the Tim Johnson who spent several months recovering from a brain hemorrhage. Even Johnson made more then half the votes. In contrast Obama who was also running a campaign missed under 300 votes (45.9%). I guess that explains the why he voted present more then McCain. No not at all. I believe you are forgetting that his opponent is Obama.
