He's a politican ... the only promise that he's made is to lie.Is the ';Hope'; Obama is talking about is the hope that he won't break his campaign promises?
The ';hope'; that every politician talks about is the hope he or she won't break campaign promises. In the current economic situation, I find it hard to believe any of them when they say that taxes won't be raised. In order to fix this economic situation and the huge debt, in my opinion it will be necessary to increase government income and reduce spending both. Basically, I don't believe any candidate when they say they are not going to raise taxes.
Obama won't have enough wealth to 'spread around' to keep all his promises. He's going to 'soak the rich', which is very popular among those who aren't rich. I'm not rich. I've never made a 6 figure income in my life, and probably never will at the age of 50. But his Robin Hood idea of robbing the rich to give to the poor (and lazy, in some cases) has been tried in the past in other nations, and always failed. One sure way to stifle job growth is to tax the heck out of the people who create the jobs, the aforementioned 'rich'. All you people who are salivating at the prospect of Obama in the oval office, has a poor person ever hired you for a job? Or do you think you'll just be able to slurp at the government trough once your hero gets elected? And do you think his idea of slapping tariffs on is the way to prevent jobs from being sent 'overseas'? Look how well the Smoot Hawley tariff worked during the depression. Unemployment went from 6% to 20%. Yep, it sure will be fun to see where we are a year from now, with the woefully inexperienced socialist in the White House.
Hope that we wont have another 4 years like we have had. Hope that each American will help him by being responsible parents He has hope in our country to do better than be the country everyone hates.
He may not be able to fulfil all of his promises but i am sure he will make some change =)
You know what the problem is here? Too many people are uneducated about the candidates and are basing their decisions on what they think they know. If people actually paid attention to Obama's platform they'd see he's legitimate, genuine, knowledgable, logical and not dumb enough to vote someone like Palin into office.
If people like you and Sarah Palin can read, he WILL NOT RAISE TAXES ON THE MIDDLE CLASS.
JOHN MCCAIN WILL KEEP THE CURRENT TAX CODES OF GEORGE BUSH, MAKING MIDDLE CLASS CARRY THE TAX BURDEN, AND LETTING MILLIONAIRES GET AWAY WITH LOOPHOLES. THUS NOT PAYING THEIR FARE SHARE..

He runs on hope not promises... you can hope he will do something, but he will probably not. You can hope that he is a better person than he was in the past, but he's probably not.
Clinton made the same promises to the middle class then signed the largest tax increase on the middle class in American history. Beware the stranger bearing gifts.
There is no hope that Obama will not break his campaign promises.
He will be counting on the fact that in six months his followers will not even remember what his campaign promises even were.
