His defense was that he is a ';good lobbyist';....are we in the Land of OZ? Are you a good lobbyist or a bad lobbyist?How can John McCain claim to be anti-lobbyist when his campaign is run by one?
He is good in that he opened doors for his lobby. What you failed to point out is that he couldn't get John McCain to cave in, so he said, if I can't beat McCain then join him. McCain is only one of few politicians that both sides agree is actually honest. So no defense needed, he needed a good organizer and got one.How can John McCain claim to be anti-lobbyist when his campaign is run by one?
Have you seen the ';TRUTH in Advertising'; cartoon of Hillary wearing her ';NASCAR-style'; coveralls with ';Sponser patches.?';
Every Senator prefers spending somebody else's money than their own. All 100 of them!
I wonder if the one he shagged was good.
welcome to politics. the lobbyists own the majority of residential property in Washington DC. this system isnt going to be changing any time soon.
He has become the front seat passenger on the double-talk express. He has more lobbyists working for his campaign than any other canidate (Democrat or Republican). Obama has the least amount working for him. McCain claims that he votes indipendently of them but how do we know that for sure. Are we really so naive to think that people who contribute large amounts of money to a campaign don't expect something in return. This is just another example of him flip flopping. Same with his stance on the Bush tax Cuts and the use of torture.
I just hope representative from the DoD can lobby with him so that defense contractors such as Boeing and Lockheed Martin can keep paying their employees for the next 4 (hopefully 8) years.
don't kid yourself as the other candidates also have lobbyists!!!!!
Well, he is a conservative Republican which goes hand in hand with lobbyists. It won't hurt his credibility within his party as they tend to stick together through thick lies and thin lies.
